FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you have a catalog that I can get?    No, all we have is the website, this way we can keep our prices down.

Do you match prices of other police equipment suppliers?  Not normally, our prices are lower than most anyway.

Do you have any items that are restricted to police officers only?  Yes we do, they are marked on the page if that applies.  We can either accept a copy of your department issued ID or a letter on department letterhead verifying your status.  These will be kept on file and you will not have to provide it again on future purchases.

Do you give police officer discounts?  No since our prices are lower anyway.  On a large purchase of multiple items we can give a better price.

What credit cards do you accept?  Visa/MasterCard only.

Will you ship overseas?  FPO/APO addresses are not a problem and to Canada only. Other than that we do not ship overseas.  If you have a question about this policy, you may call and speak with the owner.

Are all sales final?  Any item purchased that must be ordered in is final, if the item is in stock then we will exchange item for item only. Any item that is purchase as "used" is final and there is no warranty on those items.

Do you have online purchasing?  Not at this time, you must call.  This way we can make sure that you get the correct item for what you want it for.

Do you install items into vehicles?  At this time installations are not performed but assistance to you is available.

Will you assist me in doing my own installation with telephone support?  Yes, call 731-286-8283, we will do what we can for you.  Depending on the type of problem you have, we may refer you to the manufacturer of the product for technical assistance.

What experience do you have in emergency equipment? Bobby Byrum, the owner,  has been involved with emergency services for over 30 years and has been doing installations and repairs for over 20 years. He has been a police officer, deputy sheriff, fireman, EMT, rescue scuba diver and Divemaster, and did 20 years in the military (USMC and USN).

Once I place an order how fast can I get it to me?  Normally within a week, if an item is backordered it will depend on the availability from the manufacturer and then it will be shipped directly to you from them. Lightbars can take up to 6 weeks to get if they have to be special ordered.

What means do you do shipping by?  We use FedEx and the US Postal Service.  If you want overnight or 2 day service you must specify this at the time of the order so we can accommodate. All orders going overseas will be shipped through the US Postal Service.  This is the most cost effective way of shipping. 

Why do we have to call in an order?  This is due to several orders being placed in the past where the customer discovered that they were  ordering the wrong item or had the wrong part number.  Remember, any item that has to be ordered in is a final sale.
